Our handmade Tamales are inspired by Juarez style Chile Colorado with Jackfruit simmered in a dry blend of Chile Rojo Salsa, potatoes and mozzarella, then steam them to perfection in corn husks. Tamales come cooked, ready to heat up or store for a later dinner and snack time!

Ingredients: Corn Masa, Coconut Oil, Grape Seed Oil, Roasted Guajillo Peppers, Chile Colorado, Potato, Jackruit, Coconut Cheese,  Garlic, Corn Husk, Salt, Spices and Love!

Different heating tamal methods: Thaw tamales overnight or for 4hrs approx. for best results.

  1. Steam for 15 minutes from the thawed state .
  2. Place tamales over a skillet at medium high heat and flip tamales every 5 minutes or until the husk is charred. It will get smoky, but this is our favorite way of heating!
  3. Unwrap the husk and place butter on a skillet at medium heat and heat about 5 minutes on each side with a lid. Masa gets crispy like a sope/gordita.
  4. Microwave for 2- 3 minutes with the husk on. Any exposed masa will get hard and dry so make sure it is covered with its husk or a wet paper towel. You can also heat in a bowl with a covered lid.
