Tamales Chikn’ Chile Verde (4)


Chile Verde Tamales are simmered in with our Vegan Chikn’ protein, potatoes and a blend of mix green chiles for the Salsa Verde wrapped in corn masa and steamed in corn husks. Tamales come cooked and frozen ready to heat up or store for a later emergency snack time!

Ingredients: Corn Masa, Coconut Oil, Grape Seed Oil, Soy Protein, Potato, Green Chiles (Jalapeno, Poblano, Anaheim, Serrano), Cilantro, Onions, Garlic, Salt, Spices and Love!

Different heating tamal methods: Thaw tamales overnight or for 4hrs approx. for best results. 

  1. Steam for 15 minutes from the thawed state.
  2. Unwrap the husk and place butter on a skillet at medium heat and heat about 5 minutes on each side with a lid.
  3. Place tamales over a skillet at medium high heat and flip tamales every 5 minutes or until the husk is charred. It will get smoky, but this is our favorite way of heating!
  4. Microwave for 2- 3 minutes with the husk on. Any exposed masa will get hard and dry so make sure it is covered. You can also heat in a bowl with a covered lid.

Our packaging is all 100% compostable. Do not heat in clear “plastic” looking filmware.
